It has been awhile...sorry!

It has been awhile since I have updated. Don't know how many people actually read our mini blog. Anyways, I am 23 weeks pregnant now. A little boy. I go in to see the doctor every other week, she checks my cervix and looks at the baby's head. I go in to the hospital every week for a injection of progesterone to help keep my uterus and cervix relaxed. At this point, I am not sure how well the injections help....since I am currently on modified bed rest for pain and tightening of the uterus.
So far the baby shows no signs of Pfeiffer Syndrome but for those who understand the syndrome..it could just be too early to tell. The measurements of the eye space is normal, ventricles are normal, sutures in the head are normal...whole body is normal.
Cole is getting excited about the baby, although he has said that he wants a sister and not a brother. Dad wants to name the baby Cory. So we have to figure out a middle name. Would like to name him after my mother in some way. Due date is March 28.
Will update later, hopefully with pictures.

My son is the greatest!!

Cole and I had a some what busy day planned yesterday. He had an appointment to have his birthday pictures taken. We arrived a little early for the appointment and ended up having to wait a half an hour. He waited so patiently! He did very well with having his pictures taken, he used his good listening ears!
After his pictures were taken, we viewed them on the computer. An annoying little girl kept on bothering me about looking into my bag. She wanted to see what was in my bag and she kept trying to pull it away from me. Cole stood up and looked at me and said "She is whining". Where was this girl's mom, just standing there doing nothing!
Then Cole and I went over to a pizza place to meet up with some former classmates. I had him sit down at the table while I went up and picked up his pizza. He sat quietly at the table while everyone else was running around and playing. I brought back his pizza, he ate and then went off to play.
Time to go....he happily left when I told him it was time to go.
I am so proud of him! He truly is a great child. He does have his stubborn streak but over all...he is a wonderful boy. The love of my life!!!
I love ya Bud Bud!

Legoland

We took Cole to Legoland today. He stayed dry all the way there, the 4 hours we were at Legoland, the drive home....and he is still dry!!! He is doing so well with potty training. I will be honest, when we were getting ready this morning for Legoland, I thought about putting him in a pull up just in case. So glad I didn't!
I don't think he is 100% potty trained, but he is doing incredible well. He is really growing up. I am so proud of him!

Our Friend Runic

Our little friend Runic is coming to town on Tuesday and will be here until August 20! So excited. We are going to plan a few play dates with the kiddos from his former class.
Runic is a 4 yr old boy who use to go to school with Cole. He moved away a few months ago. He is coming 'to town' to visit and we can't wait to see him.

First Day of Preschool 2008

WOW! Look at my little Cole. He really has grown! This picture was taken on the first day of preschool. It was so hard for me to leave him. Much, much harder the second day because he cried out so loud (like I have never heard before). But he had a wonderful year and learned so much!

Last Year...Turning 3

I can't believe Cole will be 4 next month. He has grown so much in the last year. Each year before his birthday, he gets his pictures taken. At his birthday party, I like to place all of his past birthday pictures with his current birthday picture on the table so that everyone can see how much he has changed through the years.

My Latest Felt Cakes

I made the one with the blue flowers for my mom. It is the top layer of her wedding cake. I have sold a few of the desserts that I have made. I continue to try new foods and they are fun to make.
